Abstract
ABSTRACT
The study examined the impact of institutional quality on economic growth in Nigeria employing Unit Root test and multiple regression analysis technique and also time series data spanning from 1993-2023. Findings of the empirical work indicate that institutional quality has a negative and significant impact on Nigeria’s economic performance. The study recommended that implementing and enforcing robust anti-corruption laws can reduce the misallocation of resources and build investor confidence and that improving the consistency and enforcement of laws, particularly those protecting property rights and contracts, can foster a more conducive environment for investment.
Key words: Institutional Quality, Economic Growth, Nigeria.
