INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR SMALL BUSINESS (CASE STUDY OF GRIFFIN GADGETS)
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This project examines the development and implementation of an Inventory Management System (IMS) tailored for small businesses, with Griffin Gadgets serving as the case study. The study identifies inefficiencies in manual inventory processes such as stock mismanagement, data inconsistency, and operational delays.
Using structured system design methodologies, a computerized solution was developed to automate inventory tracking, improve record accuracy, and enhance decision-making. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and analysis of existing inventory practices within the business.
The results indicate that the proposed system significantly improves stock visibility, reduces human error, and optimizes operational efficiency. The study concludes that adopting digital inventory systems is no longer optional for small businesses aiming to scale sustainably.
