The research methodology adopted is the survey research method. Questionnaire was constructed and administered to the representative sample of the study. The data in this study were analysed using percentages and tables for the demography of respondents and the research questions. While the research hypotheses were analysed using the Chi-square formula. In the analysis of the hypotheses, Social Media plays a significant role in curbing Domestic Violence among residents of Enugu Urban. Social Media can be used as a veritable tool in combating domestic violence among residents of Enugu Urban. Social media platforms are used to a high extent in mitigating domestic violence in Enugu Urban. Parts of the recommendations of this study are that the appropriate medium should be used to create awareness about parties and candidates as to attract the target audience to such parties. Also, media organisations and advertising agencies should take into consideration the target audience before designing an advertising message so as to draft the appropriate message.
