Abstract

The challenges faced by students and staff at the admission office in any higher institution have led us to realize that using a computer-assisted admission system is the best way to handle student records at Federal College of Education, Eha-Amufu, Enugu. This system will help prevent the school from facing issues caused by student complaints at the end of the day. Our main goal in creating and implementing an online student admission system is to develop a computer program that will allow the registration and admission officers to efficiently process and manage student activities at the institution without much trouble and in less time. Therefore, admission officers need to be ready to work well with an online information system and ensure that their staff are familiar with the system to make the process easy and produce reliable results. This project explains how a student admission system is developed and how it can be effectively used for the day-to-day operations of the setup.
