Abstract

The abstract of this project investigates the creation and implementation of Duty Roaster Management System tailored for the security department at MAU. The primary goal is to design a user-friendly software solution that optimizes scheduling, assignment, and management of security personnel shifts. The research identifies the prevalent inefficiencies in the existing manual rostering processes emphasizing the need for an automated system to streamline scheduling, reduce errors, and enhance overall operational efficiencies. The system’s core functionalities encompass shift allocation, personnel availability tracking, automatic notifications and real-time updates, catering to the unique requirements of the security department. HTML, PHP, JavaScript was used for the design of the web-based program.
