Abstract

Abstract Background & Objective: Rural development remains a critical challenge in Nigeria, often characterized by inadequate infrastructure, high poverty levels, and limited access to basic social services. This study examines the contributions of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) as partners in filling the developmental gaps left by the government in Takum LGA. The primary objective is to evaluate the extent to which NGO interventions in sectors such as education, healthcare, and economic empowerment have impacted the lives of rural dwellers in the region.
