Abstract

ABSTRACT The design and construction of a biometric door security system focus on enhancing security measures by utilizing biometric technology for access control. This project aims to develop a secure, efficient, and user-friendly system that restricts unauthorized entry and provides reliable authentication through biometric identification, such as fingerprint scanning. The system integrates a microcontroller to process biometric data and controls the locking mechanism, ensuring only registered users can gain access. This project also addresses potential challenges such as data accuracy, response time, and system reliability, aiming to create a robust solution for secure access in residential and commercial applications. The final implementation demonstrates the effectiveness of biometric security in preventing unauthorized access and enhancing overall safety.
