The population of the study comprised of one thousand two twenty (1028) SS1 students in public senior secondary school in Abak Local Government Area. The sample of the study was one hundred (100) SS 1 students. The instrument used for data collection was tagged Availability and utilization of Facility Questionnaire (AUFQ). The instrument was validated by an expert in test and measurement and Physics education. The reliability coefficient of 0.82 was established using Cronbach's alpha reliability test. Data collected was analyzed using descriptive statistics such as mean and standard deviation to answer the research questions and independent t-test statistics was used test the two null hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. The study revealed among others that the laboratory facilities are highly absolute for teaching and learning of Physics in Physics laboratories of Secondary Schools. it also reveals that There is significant influence of laboratory facilities available for teaching and learning of Physics.
