DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF STOCK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR BEVERAGES STOCK CONTROL AND EXPIRY DATE (A CASE STUDY OF NAWA GLOBAL CONCEPT)
Abstract
There are many stock management systems that facilitate the documentation and control of goods, helping in decision-making processes and reducing the workload of managers. However, most of these systems do not provide notifications for products that are about to expire or have already expired, leading to significant losses.
This project presents a stock management system designed to improve operational efficiency by providing daily, weekly, and monthly alerts for products nearing their expiry dates. The system also includes features for managing employees, memberships, and products, enabling managers to add, delete, and modify records easily.
The system enhances data handling by allowing efficient input, output, and retrieval of information, with clear visualization and organization. For the implementation, HTML and CSS were used for the front-end design, while PHP and MySQL were used for the back-end database.
The developed system is capable of storing large volumes of data and maintaining accurate records of goods. It is efficient, reliable, and meets the required system specifications, including input/output operations and memory capacity.
