DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF TOILET AND DUMPSITE LOCATOR
Abstract
Climate change is a major problem in Nigeria and the whole world reports have shown that open defecation and careless waste disposal are major factors contributing to climate change Toilets and dumpsites are available and readily accessible all over Nigeria especially in urban areas However there is a challenge which makes people dispose waste in rather designated areas and also defecate openly the challenge is peoples inability to locate toilets and dumpsites around them easily Our project goal is to help eliminate open defecation and careless waste disposal by developing a toilet and dumpsite locating system using HTML CSS react nodejs and MongoDB The toilet and dumpsite locator is a web application that helps users to find toilets and dumpsites and also get directions to them with ease The web application is designed to be user friendly and easy for the users to navigate through and get directions with ease
