Abstract

ABSTRACT The study examines effect of reward on organizational performance using the Nigeria breweries as a study case. The study adopted a field survey research with sample size of 133. The distributed questionnaire were analysed using tables and percentages while the stated hypotheses were tested using the Chi-square statistic (X2).The finding shows that cash bonus has significance effect on organizational performance, while salary increase has no significant effect on organizational performance. This is due to the fact that salary is ones right so long he is part of the organization. The researcher therefore recommends that a balance should be created by Nigeria breweries authorities in adopting which reward measures to use.
