ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AS TOOLS IN CONTROLLING BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN ABUJA
Abstract
This study examined the Artificial Intelligence as Tools in Controlling Building Construction Project Management in Abuja. This study made use of text books, journal, and physical observation/questionnaire for the data used. To guide the study, some objectives were formulated which includes: to identify the existing Artificial Intelligence used in building construction project management in Abuja; to evaluate the influence of Artificial Intelligence tools in building construction project Management in Abuja; to identify the challenges affecting the adoption of Artificial Intelligence tool in the construction project in Abuja. The data collected were analyzed using tables and simple percentages. Findings revealed that Robotic Processing Automation (RPA) Artificial Intelligence is used in building construction project management in Abuja; generative Artificial Intelligence is used in building construction project management in Abuja; computer vision Artificial Intelligence is used in building construction project management in Abuja and project scope management influence building construction project in Abuja. From the findings, recommendations were made that: There should be adequate introduction of Robotic Processing Automation, Natural Language Processing, predictive Artificial Intelligence as artificial intelligence for effective construction in building industry. Every construction sector should adopt the effective use of artificial intelligence system as such will help to boost the construction techniques in construction site.
