MOTIVATION AND WORKERS PRODUCTIVITY IN ABIA STATE POLYTECHNIC, ABA
Abstract
This study is aimed at finding out the effect of motivation on workers
productivity in Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, Abia State the finding of
the study were based on the data collected through the
questionnaires which revealed that increase in salary motivates
workers to achieve high productivity and, job security motivates
workers, job satisfaction boast workers productivity, and motivation
reduces staff truancy in Abia State Polytechnic, Aba. Based on this
finding recommendations were made as follows: There should be
extrinsic and intrinsic motivational factors. Also, management should
review the management should styles periodically. So as to enable
them determine and adopt the adopt the ones that motivate workers
to higher productivity in the organization
