Through a comprehensive analysis, the study aims to assess current practices and challenges associated with solid waste management, identify economic implications of ineffective waste management, explore potential economic benefits of sustainable practices, examine factors influencing public participation, and evaluate existing policy frameworks. Data from surveys and analyses reveal significant challenges such as inadequate infrastructure and poor coordination among agencies, alongside economic losses attributable to ineffective waste management. However, opportunities exist for revenue generation and job creation through sustainable practices.
