COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS ON EGG PRODUCTION AND FEED INTAKE ADMINISTRATION FROM JANUARY TO DECEMBER 2023 (A CASE STUDY OF AMMA FARM AND GENERAL ENTERPRISES TALATA MAFARA)
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study presents a comparative analysis of egg production and feed intake administration at Amma Farm and General Enterprises, TalataMafara, from January to December 2023. The research aims to assess the relationship between feed intake and egg production efficiency over a 12-month period, identifying trends, fluctuations, and the overall productivity of the poultry farm. Data on feed consumption and egg yield were collected and analyzed to evaluate performance across different seasons and management practices. The findings from the regression analysis suggest a potentially strong relationship between feed intake and egg production, with feed intake accounting for a significant portion of the variation in egg production. However, the marginal significance level (P = 0.094) implies that the current dataset does not fully support a definitive conclusion. The R-squared values reflect a good model fit, but the large standard error and marginal significance levels indicate that other factors may influence egg production. The study highlights the importance of feed intake in egg production but suggests that a more comprehensive analysis, perhaps including other variables (e.g., environmental factors, breed of hens, health conditions), may provide deeper insights. The study concludes with recommendations for better resource management and sustainability in poultry farming operations.
