ORGANIZATIONAL BONUS SCHEME AND ITS IMPACTS TOWARDS EMPLOYEE PRODUCTIVITY (A STUDY OF SELECTED ORGANIZATION IN OWERRI)

ABSTRACT
This research work tries to ascertain the impact and effect of organizational bonus scheme towards employee's productivity. People entering into an organization goes with different type of expectation from their work place, in most cases they want good salaries, job securities, medical, transportation and housing allowances and mostly an incentive package called bonus. it is in recognition of this research tries to examine the impact of bonus scheme on employee's productivity with references to (selected organization in Owerri). Data was gathered through the use of questionnaires with a sample size of 120 staff (selected organization in Owerri) data analysis was done by the application of simple percentage and chi square, after the analysis it was observed that there is significant relationship between organization bonus scheme and high productivity and also that this bonus scheme can affect the nature of organizational operation. Conclusively, the researcher recommended that management should adopt any method of bonus scheme that is capable of bringing efficiency and effectiveness in the work setting in order to enhance productivity.
