Abstract

Abstract This study investigated the integration of oral literature into the secondary school curriculum as a means of morally reshaping students’ lives positively, using Ondo West Local Government Area as a case study. A descriptive survey research design was adopted. A total of 100 respondents were selected using simple random sampling. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using simple percentages. Findings revealed that oral literature significantly enhances students’ moral reasoning, ethical decision-making, empathy, and cultural identity. The study concludes that oral literature is an effective tool for moral education and cultural preservation.
