Abstract

Communal sporting activities and physical fitness over the years has emerged as a pastime leisure pursuit. However, there is a massive gap with the lack of a proper centralized system that allows different sport-minded individuals, more especially, the people who do not have an immediate access to like minds to partake in sporting activities with. Our project introduces a design and implementation of a Sport Community-Collaboration system as a possible mitigation strategy to fill up this gap. We intend to and would solve this by providing users with a friendly and robust interface that is capable of allowing them find other sport-minded individuals. It enables them with the ability to create and join different ongoing and upcoming sporting events in close proximity with other users. Thereby fostering the continuous growth of a digital community. This would further document how the system would be accomplished through the aim and objectives, design, implementation, testing and deployment of the system.
