THE EFFECT OF CERAMICS BATH FOR CERAMICS MASS PRODUCTION
Abstract
This project examined effect of ceramics bath for ceramics mass production. The body of work in this research was carried out in the studio. Working in the studio, we produced a thumbnail sketch. The finishing of the table work was concerned with coupling the various materials used for producing the ceramic bath as to make the desired outcome. It was concluded that the use of ceramics bath combines natural clay mixed with water and, sometimes, other organic materials and it is shaped and decorated, often glazed and hardened by heat. It was recommended that when choosing the material for ceramic bath, it is important to determine the durability and ease of maintenance. Also, the weight of the area where the ceramic bath would be placed should be determined prior to placement to avoid failure of basement.
