THE ROLE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY IN BROADCASTING A STUDY OF NTA IBADAN.

This research work is initiated to examine the audience attitude towards indigenous news on broadcasting corporation of Oyo state (BCOS), Ibadan and advance with reference to broadcasting corporation of Oyo state Ibadan our research will help us to know people recreation toward Yoruba Language does it promote our culture, Educate people or if they understand the language during Yoruba News Broadcast. Chapter one deals with research question, significance of the study, scope and limitation as well as historical background of BCOS, Oyo state Ibadan, chapter two deals with the literature review in which relevant literature were utilized. Chapter three explain the research method in carrying out, in chapter four, the result of the findings was analyzed and presented using table concussively, chapter five give summary, conclusion and recommendation of the researchers. The research survey method recommended that television station should endeavour to do more programmes concerning the genrality of people in Yoruba language. This will enable them to reach the target audience adequately and effectively, authors of text should devote more time and pages to give these topic good treatments. The findings revealed in this study that Yoruba language has positive impact on people especially those that listen and watch Yoruba news presentation.
