Abstract

ABSTRACT The increasing adoption of cloud-based school systems has raised concerns about data privacy and compliance. This research project explores the challenges and benefits of implementing cloud-based school systems while ensuring the protection of sensitive student data. The study examines the regulatory requirements, data security measures, and best practices for cloud-based school systems, with a focus on compliance with relevant regulations such as FERPA and GDPR. The research highlights the importance of prioritizing data privacy and security in cloud-based school systems and provides recommendations for schools, policymakers, and cloud service providers. The findings of this study contribute to the development of more secure, efficient, and effective cloud-based school systems that prioritize data privacy and compliance, ultimately supporting the educational mission of schools.
