THE EFFECT OF MEMBERS’ MOTIVE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF COOPERATIVE SOCIETY
Abstract
A cooperative society is a voluntary organization formed by individuals who come together to achieve common economic, social, and cultural goals. These societies are based on principles such as mutual help, democratic control, and equitable distribution of benefits.
The success and development of cooperative societies largely depend on the motives of their members. Members join cooperatives for various reasons such as economic gain, access to credit, social support, or community development. These motives influence their level of participation, commitment, and contribution to the growth of the cooperative.
