Abstract

This study focuses on the studio production of a multimedia design advertising Dubic malt for point of sale. Dubic malt is a brand of malted drink that share similar brand colours with other companies like maltina, Amstel and Guinness but have their different logos and little variation in colour blend. Literature review explored the theoretical and conceptual frameworks concerning multimedia and advertisement design, as well as related works of art. Methodology is exploratory design, aimed at creating a concept of the multimedia advertisement of a dubic malt brand, from the sketch to the computer and finished processes. Research materials like textbooks, journals, manuals and other research sites were used to gain knowledge on muitimedia advertisement and dubic malt. Analysis of the studio results are presented from the thumbnail to computer design, printing/ installation. The study recommends that more studies should be carried out on multimedia, hence students can explore this technique for examination, class assignments and daily demands of graphic services.
