Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Adomian Decomposition Method (ADM) in solving second-order ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The method provides a semi-analytical approach that avoids linearization, discretization, or perturbation techniques commonly used in traditional methods. The research applies ADM to selected second-order ODEs and compares the results with exact solutions to evaluate accuracy and convergence. Findings reveal that ADM is efficient, simple to implement, and produces rapidly converging series solutions. The study concludes that ADM is a reliable alternative for solving both linear and nonlinear differential equations in applied mathematics and engineering problems.
