Abstract

Globally, firm performance has been a critical area of interest for researchers, policymakers, and corporate leaders. The performance of firms, particularly those in the industrial goods sector, is essential for economic growth, industrialization, and employment creation. Industrial goods firms play a pivotal role in providing the raw materials and infrastructure necessary for development. However, the performance of these firms is influenced by several factors, including market dynamics, technological advancements, regulatory frameworks, and governance structures. Challenges such as fluctuating raw material costs, energy price volatility, and insufficient infrastructure have hindered the sector's ability to achieve sustained growth. Additionally, weak institutional frameworks and governance inefficiencies exacerbate these challenges, further impacting firm performance.
