DEVELOPMENT OF ELECTRONIC HEALTH ACTIVITY MONITOR
Abstract
Concern over people's declining health as a result of sedentary lifestyles and a lack of physical activity has grown in recent years. The Electronic Health Activity Monitor is a systematized collection of patients and the population that electronically stores health records in a digital format. By creating an electronic health activity monitor that will aid in improving a patient's condition of health, this project aims to advance the expanding area. This project's goal is to create an electronic health activity monitor that can track different types of physical activity and motivate users to lead better lives. This project's main objectives are to evaluate the monitor's accuracy across various tasks, determine how useful and successful it is, and create an intuitive user interface to increase user involvement. By increasing the quality of medical data and making sure that users receive concise, useful feedback on their activity levels, this study aims to lower medical errors. Experiments showed that step counting and fall detection were highly accurate. Even yet, there were a few minor issues with identifying idle states from subtle motions. With major advantages for preventative healthcare, the Electronic Health Activity Monitor is a potential instrument for individualized health monitoring. Future improvements will focus on improving user experience, data quality, and functionality even more, opening the door for Electronic Health Activity Monitors to become imortant equipment to help achieve long-term wellness and provide necessary information in real time for proper healthcare.
