MALWARE DETECTON FOR MOBILE USERS USING VIRUSTOTAL API
Abstract
The proliferation of mobile devices has amplified the risk of malware infections, necessitating accessible and efficient detection solutions for non-technical users. This study presents the development of a web-based application designed to facilitate malware detection for mobile users by leveraging the VirusTotal API. The application enables seamless file and URL scanning, delivering real-time analysis through an intuitive, responsive interface optimized for mobile platforms. Employing Agile methodologies, the project emphasizes user-centric design, robust security, and scalability while addressing challenges such as API dependency, device compatibility, and user trust.
