Abstract

Abstract This project focuses on the design and implementation of a Hospital Management System aimed at improving efficiency in patient care and hospital administration. The study identifies the challenges of manual record‑keeping, long patient queues, and the risk of inaccurate diagnosis due to overloaded medical staff. To address these issues, the system was developed using Microsoft C#, providing functionalities for patient admission, treatment records, billing, and payment management. The computerized approach reduces redundancy, enhances record accuracy, and promotes evidence‑based medical practices. By integrating electronic health records, the system ensures better quality of care, cost reduction, and improved accessibility of patient information. Although laboratory units were excluded due to time and financial constraints, the system demonstrates significant potential in streamlining hospital operations and supporting modern healthcare delivery.
