Abstract

This project, “AUTOMATED TIMETABLE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS’’ explores the application of advanced algorithms and data analytics in addressing the challenges of manual timetable scheduling. The system was designed to optimize resource allocation, reduce conflicts, and provide real-time adaptability in scheduling processes Using methodologies genetic algorithms and N-Queen scheduling algorithm, the system dynamically handles complex constraints like room availability, faculty schedules, and student preferences. The project includes a user-friendly interface for administrators, faculty, and students, ensuring ease of use and seamless communication. The results demonstrate significant improvements in scheduling efficiency, resource utilization, and conflict resolution. This work highlights the potential of automated systems to revolutionize timetable management, making them essential tools for modern educational institutions.
