SIMULATION AND CONSTRUCTION OF SMART PLANT WATERING SYSTEM
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The Smart Plant Watering System is an automated irrigation system designed to monitor soil and environmental conditions to ensure efficient watering of plants. The system makes use of sensors to measure soil moisture, temperature, humidity, and light intensity, and uses a microcontroller to process this data and activate the water pump when necessary. Both simulation and hardware construction were carried out to verify the functionality of the system. The results showed that the system operates accurately and reliably, reducing water wastage, preventing overwatering or underwatering, and improving plant growth. This project demonstrates the potential of integrating sensor technology and automation to enhance agricultural practices and home gardening.
