ANALYTICAL STUDIES ON THE ISLAMIC VIEW ON BEGGING WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO ZARIA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA, KADUNA STATE

Islam provides principles, procedures and modalities on how one can earn a living. Incentives toward self – reliance were given in Islam and urge Muslims to work, produce, give away and spend on others. This research work “Analytical Studies on the Islamic View on Begging with Particular Reference to Zaria Local Government Area, Kaduna State” is an attempt to identify some of the challenges facing Islamic education in Funtua Local Government Area of Katsina State due to insecurity in the area. Insecurity drains vital resources that could be used to improve and cater for schools. It constitutes hindrances to effective operations of schools. The causes of insecurity in school environment are incompetence of school security guards, lack of efficiently recognizing, directing, coordinating, supervising and monitoring security activities, non-secured school environment and lack of comprehensive and well disseminated school security policy among others. This study used descriptive research design. Descriptive research design is employed in order to obtain quantitative data that will appropriately find out The Trend of Insecurity and its Effects on Islamic Education in Funtua Local Government Area of Katsina State.
