DESIGN AND INSTALLATION OF 800 WATT SOLAR POWER SYSTEM
Abstract
The increasing demand for reliable and sustainable energy has led to the adoption of renewable energy sources, particularly solar energy. This project focuses on the design and installation of an 800-watt solar power system suitable for residential or small-scale applications. The system was designed to provide an alternative to unreliable grid power and reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
The methodology involved load estimation, system sizing, component selection, and practical installation of the solar panels, inverter, charge controller, and battery storage system. The designed system efficiently powers essential household appliances such as lighting, fans, and small electronic devices.
The results obtained show that the system performs optimally under standard sunlight conditions, providing consistent and stable power output. This project demonstrates that solar energy is a viable and sustainable solution for energy challenges, particularly in regions with abundant sunlight.
