APPRAISING THE INFORMATION NEEDS OF E-LIBRARY USERS IN ISA MUSTAPHA AGWAI I POLYTECHNIC, LAFIA
Abstract
The information needs of e-library users in Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic. Latia was widely studied, this study was aimed at surveying the information needs of y. library users in Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia. The objectives of the stech were to discover the information needs of e-library users writing itinually library to measure the effectiveness of the e-library services in Isa Mustapha Agwar 1 Polytechnic, Lafia, to ascertain the problems affecting the management and use sif the electronic resources in the library of IMAP and to identify the strategies to enhancing electronic information resources in order to satisfy the information needs of the e-library users in IMAP. The research design used in the study was d descriptive survey design. A population was targeted on which a sample of 100 was derived. The instrument for data collection used on the research is questionnaire and direct interview. The researcher therefore recommended that they should he availability of internet service and e-library resources. By doing so, the students or the e-library users would be glad towards giving their maximum support to the Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia Library.
