Abstract

This project focuses on the design and implementation of an attendance tracking system to provide a simple and efficient solution for managing student attendance in educational institutions. The system automates the process of recording, tracking, and generating attendance reports, with access restricted to teachers and administrators. The system addresses challenges associated with manual attendance processes, which are time-consuming and prone to errors. Evaluation results show that the system significantly reduces attendance marking time and improves accuracy. Developed using a user-centered approach, the system includes features such as real-time updates, attendance history tracking, and report generation. The system proved effective, though improvements in user interface consistency and error handling were recommended
