The objectives of this study are to produce manual illustrations and to merge illustrations in a computer finished layout for advertisement. The research questions states that to what extent could manual illustrations be done to fit into computer finished layout, and to what extent could manual illustrations be combined in computer finished layout. This study employed the studio practice method and a computer device. The result of this research showed that it was possible to merge manually made illustrations into the system using a scanner and it was done successfully. It was recommended that artist should be trained to understand manual manipulations.
