AMINO ACID COMPOSITION OF BLOOD SAMPLES FROM BIRDS FED WITH HERBAL FEED FORMULA
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The increasing demand for sustainable and natural alternatives in poultry nutrition has driven research into herbal feed formulations as viable substitutes for conventional feed additives. This study investigates the amino acid composition of blood samples collected from birds fed with a specially formulated herbal feed. The aim is to determine the influence of herbal supplementation on protein metabolism and overall physiological health.
A total of experimental birds were divided into control and treatment groups, with the treatment group receiving a diet enriched with herbal feed components. Blood samples were collected and analyzed using standard laboratory procedures to determine amino acid concentrations. Results indicated notable variations in essential and non-essential amino acids between the groups, suggesting that herbal feed may enhance nutrient absorption and metabolic efficiency.
The findings contribute to the growing body of knowledge on natural feed alternatives, highlighting the potential of herbal formulations in improving poultry health, reducing reliance on synthetic additives, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
