DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF A DEPARTMENTAL WEBSITE
Abstract
This project has designed and developed a departmental website for the department of computer, Nuhu bamalli polytechnic Zaria which contains various WebPages such as,the contact page, the about page, student page, the result page, notification page, the suggestion page and the Admin page.
Information was obtained through interview with some of the student and staff of the department and review of some documents, to aid gathering of adequate information required for designing and implementing the website. HTML,WAMPSERVER, MYSQL and PHP was used to design the site. In conclusion, this website will contribute in making life easier not only for student s, but also for staffs, its great advantage being to enable people have direct and instant access to the department from any where they may find themselves at the time they need that information, provided of course that place has an internet coverage.
