Abstract

The study assessed the effect of recruitment processes on service delivery, focusing on the Teachers’ Service Commission in Gombe State. It examined recruitment policies, their impact on employee performance, and challenges affecting effective service delivery. Data were collected from 96 respondents. Findings revealed that recruitment practices significantly influence staff motivation and productivity, which in turn affect service delivery. Challenges such as lack of transparency and ineffective recruitment practices were identified. The study recommended improved recruitment frameworks, staff motivation strategies, and recognition of professionalism to enhance service delivery.
