ASSESSMENT OF USER SATISFACTION ON FINTECH WALLET APPLICATIONS AMONG UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS IN NIGERIA
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study examined user satisfaction with fintech wallet applications among undergraduate students of Sa’adu Zungur University, Bauchi. The study focused on three dimensions: ease of use, transaction speed and reliability, and security features. A descriptive survey design was employed, with a sample size of 373 students proportionally drawn from six departments within the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation, and multiple regression. Findings revealed that all three dimensions significantly influence user satisfaction, with transaction speed and reliability emerging as the strongest determinant. Ease of use and security features also showed positive effects on satisfaction. The study concluded that user satisfaction is shaped by operational efficiency, user-friendly design, and strong security mechanisms. Recommendations include prioritizing transaction reliability, enhancing user-centered design, strengthening security measures, improving customer support, and developing effective regulatory frameworks.
