Abstract

Unemployment continues to be a big problem in Nigeria because of issues like separate hiring systems, limited access to training, and not-so-good ways to match job seekers with employers. This project introduces JobFinder, a web-based platform that can grow and handle more users, helping job seekers find work and employers find the right people. Built using PHP, CodeIgniter, and MySQL, the system lets users sign up, post job openings, track applications, and give feedback. The platform is designed to make hiring more efficient by using smart matching and simple designs. It works for all kinds of users, whether they are looking for jobs that need specific skills or general ones. The results show that this kind of platform can make hiring easier, help more people find jobs, and help reduce unemployment in Nigeria.
