THE IMPACT OF COMMUNICATION SYSTEM ON ORGANIZATION PERFORMANCE (A CASE STUDY OF FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC DAMATURU).

The specific objective of the study is to assess the impact of communication system on organization performance in the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu the specific objectives of the study include to examine the impact of effective communication on organization performance to identify the causes of poor communication the population of this study it comprises of men and women academic staff of the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, It consist of all Academic staff of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu for the purpose of this research work sample of fifty (50) were choose from the whole population, the selection was by simple random sample because of high concentration in the study area In conclusion the communication in an organization should be recognized and influenced by the appropriate cadre of management and subordinates in the organization. Study agrees that there is a significant relationship between communication system and organization performance in Federal Polytechnic Damaturu from the chi-square tested using descriptive statistics the researcher recommend that Organizations should have a well-developed and widely accepted policies and procedures that will guide and control the organizational system and process of communication, management and leaders to create an enabling environment of trust and safety where open and honest communication can thrive.
