Abstract

IoT devices for home automation, including fire detection and prevention, have become increasingly popular in recent years. Traditional fire alarm systems can be costly to install and require a lot of labor. An IoT-based system, using Arduino and a fire and gas sensor, can detect fires early and automatically notify the user or a fire control station. It can also turn on a water sprayer to try and extinguish the fire. This system can improve safety and quickly respond to potential accidents, helping to protect both lives and property. The specific details of how each component of the system works and is implemented are discussed in more depth.
