GREEN HYDROGEN PRODUCTION VIA PRESSURE SWING ADSORPTION
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The PSA process involves one adsorption columns that alternate between the adsorption and desorption phases. During the adsorption phase, the feed gas mixture is passed through the columns, where nitrogen molecules are adsorbed onto the adsorbent material. Meanwhile, the hydrogen molecules pass through and exit as the purified hydrogen product.
Overall, this PSA process provides an efficient and cost-effective method for the purification of hydrogen gas from a mixture of hydrogen and nitrogen. It is widely used in various industries such as petrochemicals, electronics, and metallurgy, where high-purity hydrogen is required for various processes.
