Abstract
Abstract
The aim of this study is to ascertain the effect of oral in take leaf extract of aqueous leaf extract of Ananas comosus extract on antioxidant enzymes of male and female Wistar rats. The experimental male and female rats were randomly grouped into 4 groups and treated as follows; Group 1 served as the control, while Groups 2, 3 and 4 were treated orally with 2, 4 and 6 mL/kg of the pineapple leaf extract respectively for 14 days.
