Abstract

The rapid growth of technology and digital communication has transformed the way businesses interact with their customers, making real-time customer support systems essential for improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This project, titled "Development of a Real-Time Customer Support System," aims to design and implement an efficient system that enables businesses to respond to customer inquiries instantly, providing immediate assistance and resolving issues promptly. The system utilizes web-based technology, integrating live chat functionality, automated responses through chatbots, and customer service representative support. It allows for seamless communication between customers and businesses, reducing delays in response times and enhancing overall customer experience. Additionally, the system includes features such as ticket management, real-time analytics, and feedback collection, which allow businesses to track customer interactions and improve service quality continuously. This project specifically focuses on supermarkets in Ekiti State, addressing the need for timely customer service in the retail sector. By providing real-time support, the system helps these businesses improve customer loyalty, reduce service downtime, and streamline their customer service processes. The development process includes system design, database management, and integration of real-time communication technologies. In conclusion, the real-time customer support system offers a comprehensive solution for modern businesses aiming to enhance customer engagement, ensuring that customer queries and complaints are addressed in real time, thereby fostering a more positive and efficient customer service environment.
