A STUDY OF SOME SPECIAL FUNCTIONS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This research work reveals some special functions and application in mathematics and other fields like science and engineering. In this regard, a range of functions were treated which include Gamma function, Beta function, Bessel function e.t.c. Also, it demonstrates how the functions can be useful in solving problems, in particular, to help student interpret a solution obtained. It equally provide an elementary manner of a reasonable understanding of these functions to student in science and engineering sector.
