THE IMPACT OF COVID”19 PANDEMIC ON THE ACADEMIC PERFORMACE OF MATHEMATICS STUDENTS IN ONDO, A CASE STUDY ADEYEMI COLLEGE OF EDUCATION.
Abstract
The study was carried out to investigate on the impact of Covid’19 pandemic on the academic performance of mathematics students in Ondo, a case study Adeyemi college of education Ondo state, was given consideration to, and 5 (five) department were sampled. This was a project work that was centered on the impact of Covid’19 pandemic on the academic performance of mathematics students with a view on the effectiveness of using Internet Facility as a means of facilitating the knowledge of Mathematics across all the schools in Nigeria. To achieve the above, the study employed the use of questionnaire to assess the opinion of 100 students in five (5) different Departments with the use of T-test in analyzing the research questions. The major conclusion that arises from the study was critically discussed. In the cause of the findings of the study, recommendations were drafted out to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of teaching Mathematics in Nigeria schools.
