Abstract

The increasing complexity of modern computer systems has made system maintenance and fault diagnosis more challenging, especially for non-technical users. This project presents the design and development of a System Diagnostic Software integrated with a Troubleshooting Tutorial Feature, aimed at simplifying the process of identifying, analyzing, and resolving common system issues. The proposed system is designed to automatically scan and monitor key components of a computer system, including hardware performance, software integrity, memory usage, storage health, and network connectivity. Upon detecting faults or irregularities, the software provides detailed diagnostic reports highlighting the root causes of the problems. A distinctive feature of this system is its integrated troubleshooting tutorial module, which offers step-by-step guidance to users on how to resolve identified issues. These tutorials are designed to be interactive, user-friendly, and accessible to individuals with varying levels of technical expertise. By combining automated diagnostics with educational support, the system not only resolves issues but also enhances user knowledge and self-reliance. The software is developed using modern programming tools and follows a modular architecture to ensure scalability, efficiency, and ease of maintenance. The implementation of this system is expected to reduce system downtime, minimize reliance on technical support, and improve overall system performance. In conclusion, this project demonstrates an intelligent and user-centric approach to system diagnostics by integrating automated fault detection with practical learning resources, thereby bridging the gap between technical complexity and user understanding.
