Abstract

The Design and Implementation of an Adaptive Employee Attendance and Shift Management System addresses the drawbacks of manual attendance monitoring and offers an automated, effective, and scalable solution. Key features of the system, such as shift management, reporting, and attendance monitoring, are integrated, guaranteeing precise data collection and expedited administrative procedures. Through the use of contemporary software development techniques, the system improves user experience by providing real-time data accessibility and an easy-to-use interface. Because of the system’s adaptability, shift scheduling and attendance tracking may be done dynamically to accommodate changing labour needs and organizational growth. The mathematical techniques used, such as shift optimization with linear programming, guarantee economical resource allocation and lower operating expenses. The system’s dependability and performance in a real-world setting were guaranteed by extensive testing conducted during the development period. Overall, the system significantly improves attendance accuracy, reduces administrative burden, and enhances decision-making through real-time data insights. Its design facilitates future enhancements, such as biometric integration and advanced analytics, positioning it as a versatile tool for workforce management in modern organizations. Keywords: Adaptive System, Attendance Management, Shift Scheduling, Workforce Optimization.
