DEVELOPMENT OF A WEB-BASED SYSTEM FOR NETCOM FARMERS COOPERATIVE SOCIETY
Abstract
The Development of a Web-Based System for Netcom Farmers Cooperative Society aims to modernize and improve the efficiency of the cooperative’s operations by replacing outdated manual processes with a streamlined, digital platform. The cooperative, which supports smallholder farmers, has faced significant challenges such as delays in decision-making, errors in financial record-keeping, and inefficient communication among members. These issues have hindered the society's ability to fully support its members. This study proposes the development of a web-based system to address these challenges. The system will automate key processes such as financial management, member registration, and communication, enabling real-time data access and enhancing transparency. Through this solution, the cooperative will be able to manage resources more effectively, reduce errors, and improve overall productivity. The system will be designed with a user-friendly interface, compatible with low-bandwidth environments, to ensure accessibility even in rural areas. Furthermore, it will provide a centralized platform for communication, enabling better coordination of activities and fostering trust among members. By adopting modern web technologies, the system is expected to provide scalable solutions to accommodate the cooperative’s growth. The anticipated results include enhanced member engagement, improved financial transparency, and a more efficient operation. The study highlights the transformative potential of technology in cooperative societies, particularly in agricultural communities, and proposes strategies for overcoming common challenges to successful system implementation
